Founded in 1981, Jones Medical Industries, Inc. manufactures, markets and sells a wide variety of pharmaceuticals and branded nutritional supplements.

JMI's principal branded pharmaceuticals primarily serve the thyroid treatment and critical care segments of the health care industry. The Company markets and promotes its products primarily through a direct sales force and by direct mail. Distribution of its prescription and critical care pharmaceuticals are through all major full-line wholesale drug distributors in the United States.

JMI markets the Bronson Pharmaceutical product line directly to consumers and health care and nutritional professionals, through catalogs and direct mail, as well as mail order and retail customers. A telemarketing sales force processes orders which are then filled at the Company's distribution center in St. Louis, Missouri. The Bronson Pharmaceutical product line consists of over 260 branded vitamin, mineral and herbal extract formulations. The products include multi-vitamins, mineral formulations, individual vitamins, antioxidants, herbal formulations and personal care products.

JMI purchased a manufacturing facility in Tempe to produce vitamins and dietary supplements. They employ a wide variety of people with different skills and offer a standard benefits package.
